We’re a father-son team rooted in Yardley, PA, and our story is one of dedication, passion, and family values. Since 1995, we’ve been building homes and communities throughout New Jersey and eastern Pennsylvania, always focused on delivering high-quality spaces where families can thrive and create lasting memories.

Our Home Builder Story

My dad, Leonard, came to the USA with a vision of living the American dream. Part of that dream was using his skills to build high-quality homes, and he made it happen. He settled around Yardley, PA, and built a professional, reliable home design and construction company from the ground up.

Growing up, I was always by his side—learning the ropes, working on job sites, and soaking up his attention to detail and dedication to quality. Those summers spent on-site weren’t just about hard work; they were about understanding what it means to build something that lasts.

Today, I’m proud to carry on his legacy. As the owner of Girsh Development, I make it my mission to continue building homes with the same passion and craftsmanship my father taught me. Nothing makes me happier than seeing that spark of joy when a homeowner walks into their finished home for the first time.

Girsh Development was a 10 out of 10 for us. We contracted with Mark Girsh to rebuild our home after a fire completely destroyed our original house. Mark was sympathetic, personable and easy to deal with. He educated us through the whole building process, something that was very important to us.

Mark's number one priority was customer satisfaction; he allowed us to customize the house the whole way through. Mark included his dad, Leonard, in the building of our house and both were very accessible throughout the entire process. They dealt with all construction issues very quickly and openly. They were able to "roll with the punches" that we threw at them or that the construction process threw at them.

Most importantly, Mark was very transparent throughout the entire process. There were no surprise costs along the way. Mark-ups on change orders were more than fair.

It is highly evident that Mark Girsh prides himself on building a top quality end product and that is what he did for us. We would use Girsh Development again in a heartbeat to build our home.

"A year ago , We chose Girsh development Inc to complete building my home from ground up. We had a time constraint to build it within a year, which was a great risk, Girish development completed the project well ahead of time.

"Mark Girsh was the General Contractor on our build of a custom designed modern house in Princeton, NJ. There are a few reasons I would recommend him highly as a GC. 1) He's honest. After the build he stood by his warranty and was there for 5 years as we ironed out any issues we had. 2) He's reasonably priced. There are some firms which will underprice the project and then increase the price with change orders. He did not do that. His pricing was reasonable at the beginning and stayed that way. 3) He's good at what he does. We had a problem with a sub-contractor who custom-made a stainless steel railing showcased in our great room. Mark took care of it. He's got initiative, doesn't make excuses and does what he says he'll do. For all these reasons, I could not recommend a GC more highly."
